Ray Anthony Iavasile began photographing weddings in Southern California in 1992 while working in the movie industry as a film loader and assistant cameraman.  For ten years, Ray worked with various photography studios around the country, sub-contracting as a wedding photographer, from Orange County and Los Angeles to Detroit, MI to Columbus, OH to Holland, MI and then back to Detroit. Finally, in 2002, Ray began working for himself and started Ray Anthony Photography.  This  came about because of Ray’s desire to offer a specific style of wedding photography that is documentary and editorial in nature. Ray photographs a wedding with an intuitive eye toward finding real and meaningful moments that capture the heart and emotion of the wedding day. Very little of Ray’s photos are set up or posed. In viewing a complete wedding, you will feel as though you experienced “the day in the life” of that particular couple.

Today, Ray has opened showrooms that can be found in Birmingham, MI, Las Vegas, NV and most recently in Villa Park, CA. He loves photographing weddings of distinction and is willing to travel to destinations around the world. He has photographed weddings around the US, from New York City to the beach cities of Florida to Indianapolis, IN, to the beach cities of northern Michigan and Macinac Island to Olympia, WA to Los Angeles and San Diego, CA.
