I was privileged to photograph the wedding of Shannon & Michael this past weekend! It was a weekend-long celebration, as I first began my photography coverage with the couple at their welcome party for out of town guests at the Addison Lounge in the Rampart Casino. The full day of wedding photography began on Saturday, starting with formal portraits at the JW Marriott Las Vegas in Summerlin. We proceeded to St Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church for the ceremony. I found wonderful opportunities to capture my trademark documentary coverage of the couple, waiting for the ceremony to begin! After the beautiful ceremony, the wedding party jumped in their two limos and the guests were shuttled over to TPC Country Club at Summerlin in Las Vegas for the evening reception. Oversight of the evenings festivities were meticulously cared for by TPC’s Catering Manager, Kelei Hawkins. After some addional family & wedding party portraits overlooking the plush golf course and a few romantic portraits of the couple, the grand entrance was announced and the party took full flight, thanks to the very polished DJ services of Knight Sounds Entertainment.
